Your Playground
You will join a highly motivated team with years of experience on the Platform. Using an agile methodology, it is our quest to add value to our Ad Serving Platform by translating user requests and issues to a functional solution. We don’t think in technologies and can’t-do’s, but in solutions. Our aim is to minimize time and costs for the end users. We focus on the efficiency and effectiveness of the online marketing campaigns that are managed via our Platform.
You will play a key role in working with multiple stakeholders: your team, the product management and project planning. The prioritization of the roadmap is discussed with a Scrum/Kanban approach. Afterwards, you will start working proactively on the issues. Using QA-tools like peer review, continuous integration and automated testing. We aim to sustain quality and reliability. Of course, a part of your daily work will be to come up with suggestions to continuously improve product quality and customer satisfaction, both from a technical as well as from a functional perspective.
Because the Platform delivers services to an industry that is relatively young and our competitors are constantly improving themselves, it is key to stay ahead and work on components and incorporate intelligence that have never been built before. You will work on the cutting edge of technology and your input is welcomed.

A minimum of 3 years working experience in an agile software development environment as software engineer;
Excellent experience with Ruby on Rails, PHP, Python or Java;
Excellent experience with web-development, OO and MVC;
Dedication to QA using peer reviews, continuous integration and automated testing;
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Javascript and Ajax.

Your responsibility will be to develop, plan and implement test cases based on functionality and user requirements. As we use continuous integration for the development of our Platform, you will develop and execute automated testing strategies. Another part is the maintenance and improvement of the test environment to mimic production as good as possible.
Of course, a part of your daily work will be to proactively come up with suggestions to continuously optimize product quality and customer satisfaction by improving our Quality Assurance guidelines, both from a technical as well as from a functional perspective. You will work on the cutting edge of technology and we welcome your input.
